Europe is 'High and Dry' right now with the exception of northwestern Russia, Ireland and Scotland (quelle surprise).
It is not often that you see the vast majority of Europe under the influence of high pressure in winter. In fact, most of Asia also is under the influence of high pressure.
You'd miss the rain and wind all the same...
