No Beast, but there will be a Bite in the air

To Beast or not to Beast? That is the question.

Frosty nights to persist into weekend

Showers will become well scattered overnight allowing temperatures to drop between +4c and -1c by morning, mildest in Atlantic coastal counties.

Frosty conditions can be expected on each of the remaining nights of the week.
Friday night into Saturday morning looks particularly chilly with temperatures dipping to -3c or lower.

Meanwhile, here is a timelapse video of the final 45 minutes of daylight at Inchydoney in West Cork this evening where sunset was at 5.31pm. Sunset here will be at 6.14pm on the final day of February.
