
Small Craft warning issued for all Irish coasts

All Irish coastal areas have been placed under a Status Yellow Small Craft Warning for Thursday.
Met Éireann says south to southwest winds will reach force 6 or higher, veering westerly on Thursday night.
The alert is in effect from 8.00 AM to midday on Thursday.
A separate Small Craft Warning is in effect from Slyne Head to Rossan Point to Malin Head on Wednesday from 9.00 AM to 10.00 PM.
South to southwest winds will reach force 6 in the northwest during the day.
Winds on land will strengthen during Thursday morning.
The winds will shift from a southwest to northwest direction on Friday and will remain moderate to fresh.
Rain will become widespread on Thursday before clearing to scattered showers during Friday.
It will gradually turn drier and brighter over the weekend as high pressure becomes established close to Ireland.
