Wednesday brings mix of cloud and sunny spells

Ireland enjoyed a mix of sunny spells and cloudy conditions on Wednesday.
It remained dry throughout the day as temperatures rose to 16.8 C at Shannon Airport in County Clare.
It was much cooler in east Ulster, however, with Glennane in County Armagh reaching only 11.2 C.
The mixed weather conditions are illustrated in this footage from The Paddocks Riding Centre in Dublin, Limerick City, Cobh in County Cork, Connemara in Galway and Buncrana in Donegal.
While Wednesday will remain dry, scattered outbreaks of rain will move into the northwest on Thursday morning, reaching the east coast by the evening.
It will turn breezy during Thursday as winds turn fresh south westerly during the day, with mean speeds of 35-40 km/h and gusts exceeding 65-70 km/h in some places.
The rain will die out on Thursday night ahead of a showery day on Friday in a moderate westerly wind.
