Sunny spells and scattered cloud across Ireland
Scattered cloud and sunny spells were the order of the day on Saturday afternoon.
Webcams from across Ireland showed largely sunny conditions in Limerick City, Howth, Cobh, Inchydoney, Buncrana and in Dublin.
Higher than average rainfall totals have impacted Ireland over the past week with parts of the south recording more than seven times the seasonal average.
A change in weather conditions is afoot, however, as high pressure builds over Ireland.
The weather will become cloudier, with some scattered light showers during Sunday. Some light drizzle may once again impact coastal parts of the west and northwest, but a clearing will follow later in the afternoon.
Monday through to mid-week will bring a gradual rise in temperatures, ranging from 16-19°C on Monday to 18 to 22°C on Thursday and Friday.
