Two marine warnings issued

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Small Craft Warning for all coasts of Ireland, alongside a Status Yellow Gale Warning for parts of the east and southeast coastline, as strong winds are forecast to affect marine areas into Tuesday.
The Small Craft Warning is in effect until 10:00am on Tuesday.
South to southwest winds are expected to veer westerly by Monday night, reaching Force 6 or higher on the Beaufort scale.
A separate Gale Warning has been issued for marine areas from Fair Head to Howth Head to Dungarvan, and the Irish Sea, where south to southwest winds may reach gale force 8 at times. This warning is valid from 00:00 to 04:00 on Tuesday.
Mariners and coastal communities are advised to exercise caution, as these conditions may pose a danger to small vessels and result in hazardous sea conditions.
A Status Yellow Rainfall Warning has been issued for Galway, Mayo, and Kerry on Monday, evening, as a spell of wet and windy weather moves in from the Atlantic.
Meanwhile, Met Éireann is warning of heavy downpours and strong, gusty southerly winds, with rainfall totals along the western seaboard expected to reach up to 20mm. Eastern regions, including East Munster and Leinster, will also see rain, but with lighter and more variable amounts between 5mm and 10mm.
Gusts could exceed 85 km/h in western coastal areas and may also affect parts of the south and southeast coast, contributing to hazardous conditions.
The rainfall warning is in effect from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Monday, with risks of localised flooding, reduced visibility, and difficult travel conditions.
