1986: Tillage operations are halted across Ireland due to saturated ground conditions as unsettled weather persists.
1996: A low pressure system brings strong winds and heavy rain to Ireland. Casement Aerodrome records a 109.5 km/h gust.
2011: The temperature reaches 21.8°C at Casement, Dublin.
2019: Belmullet in Mayo records the month’s highest daily sunshine (12.9 hrs).
