1982: Valentia in Kerry registers a 109.5 km/h gust of wind.
1990: Clones in Monaghan begins the day with a temperature of 1.7°C, which rises 16.7°C to 18.4°C by the late afternoon.
2003: Claremorris in Mayo records 23°C.
2008: Temperatures reach the low 20s in the Midlands and west.
2018: Sherkin Island, Malin Head and Casement Aerodrome each record the month’s maximum wind gust of 85 km/h.
