2015: The record daily rainfall total for December in Ireland, 160.8 mm, is recorded at Keenagh Beg, Co Mayo. As Storm Desmond approaches, Met Éireann issues a status red rainfall warning for Connacht and for counties Donegal, Clare and Kerry. Clare County Council also issues a flood warning.
