Long Range Weather Forecast for Ireland

Westerly winds will dominate over the next ten days, bringing a stark east–west contrast in weather.
Much drier than average conditions are expected across the south and east, while Atlantic coastal counties can expect more typical rainfall amounts.
Although scattered showers and occasional rain will affect the west and north, southern and eastern areas will see more settled and warmer conditions. Temperatures are forecast to rise gradually next week as high pressure builds over southern regions, leading to sunnier and more stable weather. In contrast, the west and northwest will continue to experience more unsettled conditions with intermittent rain or showers.
