Plenty of dry weather with just some isolated showers in Atlantic coastal counties.

Friday
A damp start in the west, but brightening up as the day progresses. Showers will become lighter and more isolated.
Temperatures: 16 to 22°C, coolest in the north and northwest.
Winds: Gentle northwesterly.
Weekend
Saturday will be largely dry, apart from a few isolated showers drifting into west Ulster and Connacht. A band of rain is expected to move in from the west on Sunday, with drier conditions holding in the south and southeast.
Temperatures: 17 to 21°C, possibly a degree or two warmer in the south and southeast on Sunday.
Winds: Gentle westerly on Saturday, veering light southerly on Sunday.

High pressure will ridge northwards over the southern half of Ireland, bringing more settled conditions there for the early part of the week. Occasional rain or showers are more likely in the north and west. Temperatures will be similar to this week. A return to more unsettled conditions is likely later in the week.
