Scattered outbreaks of light rain and drizzle will continue in the northwest and west. Elsewhere will see dry spells and occasional sunny breaks. Rain will spread eastward this evening, with heavier bursts likely in Ulster tonight.

Tuesday:
Showers will gradually become isolated, with dry and bright spells developing across much of the country.
Highs: 16–24°C, warmest in the south and southeast, coolest in the northwest.

Dry to start in many areas, though mist or drizzle may affect Atlantic coasts. Showers will develop from the Atlantic in the afternoon, some turning heavy.
