Water Outages in Tipperary Due to Low Reservoir Levels

Households in parts of south Tipperary are without water today due to low reservoir levels affecting the Burncourt Water Supply Scheme.
The outage is impacting Skeheenarinka and Ballyporeen villages, along with Templetenny, Coolagarranoe, Carrigmore, Cullenagh, Doolis and surrounding areas.
Uisce Éireann says supply is expected to return by 9am on Monday, 11 August, though it may take longer for homes at the end of the network or on higher ground to be fully restored.
The utility apologised for the disruption and thanked customers for their patience. Vulnerable customers registered with Uisce Éireann are being contacted directly.
The water shortage comes after a week of drier-than-normal conditions across much of the country, with most stations recording between 30% and 75% of average rainfall.
In contrast, some western and northern coastal counties saw near to above-average totals, ranging from 94% to 143% of normal levels.
