2008: Phoenix Park records a maximum daytime temperature of 0.6°C.

2009: The River Liffey bursts its banks in parts of Dublin and east Kildare, causing flooding and some evacuations. Affected towns include Ballymore Eustace, Kilcullen, Newbridge, Clane, Celbridge, Naas and Leixlip. November 2009 is among the wettest months ever recorded in Ireland.

2010: A record November low of –11.5°C is recorded at Clonroche, County Wexford.

2015: Storm Clodagh brings severe winds, with gusts around 130 km/h and about 6,000 homes in the west and south losing power.
