A 38-foot cruiser with four people and a dog onboard ran aground near Camagh Bay on Lough Erne in County Fermanagh on Sunday morning but was safely refloated with the help of Enniskillen RNLI.

The lifeboat was launched at 9:37 a.m. following a call from Belfast Coastguard.

The volunteer crew quickly reached the vessel, confirmed all onboard were safe, and assessed the situation.

Two crew members boarded the cruiser to assist, successfully guiding it back to deeper water. The vessel then continued its journey without further incident.

RNLI officials reminded all water users to regularly maintain their vessels and have a reliable way to call for help. In case of emergency, the public is urged to dial 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard.
