Mainly dry with sunny spells for much of the day. Showers developing in the southwest by afternoon, some thundery. These will push north and intensify, with widespread thunderstorms across north Leinster and Ulster in the late afternoon and evening. Spot flooding and power outages likely in places, particularly over Ulster.

Winds: Light southerly, becoming variable later

Thursday
Scattered showers, mostly over the eastern half of Ireland early on. Warm sunshine developing everywhere as showers dissipate.

Friday
Largely dry and warm after morning showers clear.
Highs: 20–27 °C
Winds: Light easterly

Saturday & Sunday
Dry and warm overall, with scattered showers in places—especially the south and west during the afternoon and evening.
Highs: 21–27 °C
Winds: Gentle easterly

Outlook
Remaining warm into early next week with high pressure centred over or near Ireland. Its influence may weaken toward the end of the week, allowing showers or occasional rain from the west. Temperatures generally 20–26 °C, turning slightly cooler from the northwest later. Winds light easterly, possibly shifting southwesterly or westerly late in the week.
