2011: Storm Berit (also named Xaver) deepens off Ireland’s west coast but tracks north of Scotland. The storm has a central pressure of 980 mb.

2022: Roches Point, Co. Cork, records the strongest wind gust of the month at 65 knots (120 km/h).

2024: Storm Bert produces a 115 km/h gust at Malin Head, Co. Donegal, and 57.4 mm of rain at Knock Airport, Co. Mayo.
