
Drier weather to follow mixed Easter weekend

A washout Good Friday and a varied Easter Weekend will give way to a drier, warmer period in the last week of April.
Rain showers will persist through Friday and linger into Saturday, with most areas drying out during Saturday afternoon.
Winds will start as moderate to strong easterly on Friday, calming to light easterly by Saturday evening.
Sunday will be mostly dry during the day, but scattered rain will spread from the southwest across Ireland by late evening, clearing by Monday morning.
Monday and Tuesday will feature a mix of sunshine and occasional showers, with temperatures rising from weekend highs of 9–12C to 11–13C.
High pressure will dominate near or over Ireland from mid-week next week, bringing mostly dry weather and temperatures climbing to 14–17C.
