A cloudy start in the west with brighter spells further east. Rain and drizzle will edge in from the Atlantic by evening. Highs of 15–20°C, warmest in the south. Winds moderate to fresh from the west. Overcast overnight with patchy rain, mainly in the north and west.
Tuesday:
Light rain or drizzle, mainly in Connacht, Ulster, and west Munster. Drier and brighter from late morning, especially in the east. Highs of 16–21°C, warmest in Leinster. Westerly winds remain moderate to fresh.
Wednesday:
A largely dry day with just some coastal drizzle in the west. Rain will move in from the west overnight. Daytime highs of 16–22°C, warmest in the Midlands and inland Munster. Winds light and variable.
Thursday:
Scattered showers during the day. A fresh band of rain moves into the west and north later at night. Mostly dry in the east. Cooler, with highs of 15–19°C. Winds moderate westerly.
Friday:
A mix of showers and sunny spells, but the southeast and east likely to stay dry. A bit warmer again, with temperatures of 16–21°C. Winds moderate southwesterly.
Weekend:
Saturday looks mostly dry with temperatures of 16–21°C. Sunday sees a warming trend, reaching up to 23°C in the south and east, but staying cooler (14–15°C) in the far northwest, where more persistent rain is expected. Winds light, shifting from westerly to easterly.
Outlook Into Next Week:
Unsettled conditions continue, with spells of rain or showers from the Atlantic. The east and southeast should remain the driest spots. Winds turning westerly and occasionally moderate.
