The remnants of Hurricane Erin, which will move close to the northwest of Ireland later this weekend and into early next week, will bring more unsettled conditions.
Ireland will enjoy plenty of dry and warm weather up to Monday, with temperatures remaining above average for mid-August. Conditions will turn more unsettled from Monday evening, with above-average rainfall returning.

Largely dry, though some light patchy drizzle or showers are possible near north and west coasts, becoming more widespread here by late evening. Brighter weather with sunny spells over Leinster, but cloud will increase later.

Saturday
Cloudy through the morning with scattered showers and some patchy mist or drizzle. Clearer skies and sunny spells spreading from the south during the afternoon.

Sunday
Bright to start with hazy sunshine. Cloud increasing from the west later, with patchy mist or drizzle possible along Atlantic coasts by evening, clearing early in the night.

Monday
Warm and humid. Many areas will be dry with sunshine, but cloud will build from the west. Rain will reach the west by late evening, spreading across Ireland overnight. It will become more scattered as it moves east.

Tuesday
Scattered heavy showers in the west and north, with some spreading inland. Drier and brighter further south and east.
