Overcast with isolated showers and patches of mist or drizzle along the south coast. Good dry spells elsewhere despite the cloud.

Winds: Moderate southwesterly

Saturday
Dry to start in the east and south. Rain in the southwest will spread nationwide later, with some local downpours.
Temperatures: 15–18°C
Winds: Moderate southeasterly

Sunday
Scattered outbreaks of rain continuing through the day.
Temperatures: 14–19°C
Winds: Fresh southeasterly, easing later

Next week
Unsettled weather will continue with frequent rain and showers, accompanied by moderate to fresh westerly winds. Rainfall will remain well above average and temperatures slightly below normal. Toward mid-September, high pressure building from the south may bring more settled conditions to the south and east.
