
Weather Forecast for Electric Picnic 2025

Electric Picnic 2025, Ireland’s premier music and arts festival, is set to take place from this Friday, August 29, to Sunday, August 31, at Stradbally in County Laois. This year marks the 22nd edition of the sold-out festival.
So, what can the 80,000 attendees of the three-day festival expect weather-wise? In short, there will be afternoon showers and evening sunshine on Friday and Sunday, with a wet and windy start to the first half of Saturday before drier conditions take hold.
Friday
Conditions will start dry before scattered showers develop in the midlands during the afternoon. Showers will ease in the evening, leaving largely dry conditions with increasing sunshine.
Temperatures: 15 to 17 degrees in the afternoon, 11 to 13 degrees overnight.
Winds: Moderate westerly, easing later in the evening.
Saturday
A low pressure system will bring wet and windy conditions in the morning. Rain will arrive shortly after dawn and continue until mid-afternoon before clearing from the west. The afternoon will remain blustery but winds will ease by evening, with dry spells, sunshine and scattered showers later.
Temperatures: 12 to 14 degrees during rainfall, rising to 17 to 19 degrees in late afternoon and evening sunshine. Overnight 12 to 13 degrees.
Winds: Fresh south-easterly in the morning, increasing to strong southerly by afternoon, then moderating to fresh south-westerly by evening.
Sunday
A largely dry start with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Scattered showers will develop during the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures: 15 to 17 degrees.
Winds: Fresh south-easterly.
