1961: Hurricane Debbie, classified as a Category 1 Atlantic hurricane, forms near the Cape Verde Islands. While still tropical at this point, Debbie eventually becomes extratropical and strikes Ireland with devastating impact, leading to around 18 fatalities.

2016: A high of 26.6 °C is logged in Glasnevin, Dublin.

2023: The temperature reaches 26.4 °C at Phoenix Park, Dublin.

2024: The month’s highest temperature, 25.2 °C, is reported at Claremorris, Co Mayo.
