Met Éireann Issues Small Craft Warning for Northwest Coast

Met Éireann has issued a Small Craft Warning for the stretch of coastline from Erris Head to Bloody Foreland to Fair Head, effective from 17:00 on Saturday until 05:30 on Sunday.
Westerly winds are expected to reach force 6 at times, creating potentially challenging conditions for smaller vessels in the area.
Looking beyond the weekend, the week ahead is forecast to bring a mix of scattered showers and sunny spells.
Temperatures will remain slightly above average for late July and early August, reaching the low 20s Celsius in the south and southeast, while cooler conditions persist in the northwest.
Rainfall totals are expected to be below normal in most regions, except in the north and northwest where they will be closer to average. Sunshine amounts should be near normal overall.
