Small Craft Warning in Place as Unsettled Weather Persists

Met Éireann has issued a Small Craft Warning for all Irish coasts as unsettled weather continues.
The Status Yellow alert advises that southwesterly winds could reach Force 6 or higher. The warning remains in effect until midnight on Sunday.
While dry spells are expected to develop widely across the east and south on Saturday, scattered showers will keep conditions more unsettled in the west and northwest.
Sunday will be a much drier day than of late. Rain will extend from the west later in the day in moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.
Unsettled weather is likely to continue through the first half of November, with periods of rain, showers, and strong winds. Conditions are expected to become calmer and drier later in the month as high pressure builds from the south.
