Status Yellow Rainfall Warnings Lifted

Met Éireann and the UK Met Office have cancelled Status Yellow warnings that had been in place for 16 counties across Leinster, Munster and Ulster for today and tomorrow.
Forecasters had warned of spells of heavy rain, with a risk of localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
Much of Munster and Leinster will still see rain on Friday, with rain lingering in the southeast on Saturday. However, the heaviest rain associated with a “slider” low-pressure system is expected to remain off the east coast and impact North Wales instead.

Northerly to north-easterly winds will reach Force 6 or higher.
Valid: 08:00–12:00 Saturday, 20 September 2025.

Valid: 12:00 Saturday, 20 September 2025 – 10:00 Sunday, 21 September 2025.
