1927: Temperatures rise to a balmy 19.4 °C at Phoenix Park in Dublin, with an overnight minimum of 15 °C.

1980: Scattered thunderstorms cause flash flooding in parts of the west. Claremorris in Co Mayo reports 50 mm of rain, while 45 mm is recorded in Galway.

1986: Mullingar, Co Westmeath records an overnight low of -3.4 °C.

2005: Belfast records a high of 16.9 °C, unusually warm for the time of year.

2012: A Euroceltic Airways aircraft carrying 40 passengers, including the band Aslan, overshoots the runway while landing in strong winds at Sligo Airport and comes to rest with its nose in the sea.

2018: The lowest air temperature of the month is reported at Mount Dillon, Co Roscommon, at -5.0 °C, its lowest November minimum since 2010.

2021: The month’s lowest air temperature, -3.1 °C, is recorded at Gurteen, Co Tipperary.

2022: Valentia Observatory, Co Kerry, records 34.8 mm of rain, 21% of its monthly long-term average, its highest daily total for November since 2012.
