Rainfall warning in place for 10 counties

Five counties of East Leinster have been placed under a Status Yellow rainfall alert for Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Met Éireann is warning of possible spot flooding between 9.00 pm on Tuesday and 2.00 PM on Wednesday as a band of heavy rain pushes north along the Irish Sea coastline.
Rain will become heavy at times and persistent in counties Wicklow, Wexford, Dublin, Meath, and Dublin.
Met Éireann has also issued a Small Craft Warning for coastal waters from Fair Head to Carlingford Lough to Carnsore Point, from 9:00 PM Tuesday to 5:00 PM Wednesday.
Northwesterly winds are forecast to intensify, reaching force 6 or 7, posing risks for mariners.
Meanwhile, a separate Status Yellow Rainfall Warning has been issued for five Northern Ireland counties, effective from 2:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday.
The UK Met Office alert covers Antrim, Armagh, Down, and eastern parts of Tyrone and Derry, with high ground in Antrim and Down bracing for up to 60mm of rain.
Other areas can expect 20-30mm of rainfall.

Meanwhile, Munster, the South Midlands, and parts of Connacht should remain mostly dry with only scattered showers until Thursday evening.
Temperatures will hover between 11-13°C, though sheltered inland spots may see overnight frost.
