Met Éireann Issues Weekend Marine Warnings as Winds Strengthen

Met Éireann has issued yellow marine and coastal warnings for the weekend as southerly winds are forecast to strengthen across Ireland.
While inland winds will increase to moderate or fresh on Saturday, offshore conditions are expected to become more blustery.
A small craft warning is in place from Mizen Head to Slyne Head to Bloody Foreland, with southerly winds expected to reach force 6 or higher between 12:00 and 18:00 on Saturday.
A second warning, covering all Irish coasts, will take effect from 18:00 Saturday until 12:00 Sunday. Winds are again forecast to reach force 6 or above, posing risks to small vessels and coastal activities.
