Yellow Gale Warnings Issued For All Irish Coastal Waters

Met Éireann has issued a series of yellow gale warnings for Ireland over the coming days, with strong winds expected to affect coastal areas.
A gale warning has been issued from Slyne Head to Rossan Point to Malin Head, where west to southwest winds are expected to reach gale force 8 at times. The warning is valid from 6pm on Thursday until 2am on Friday.
A small craft warning has also been put in place for all coasts of Ireland, with southerly winds veering southwest expected to reach force 6 or higher. This warning is in effect from midnight on Friday until midnight on Saturday.
Additionally, a yellow gale warning covering all coasts and the Irish Sea has been issued, with south to southeast winds veering southwest expected to reach gale force 8 or strong gale force 9. This warning will be valid from 4am on Friday until midnight on Saturday.
Met Éireann has advised the public, particularly those travelling by sea or in exposed coastal areas, to exercise caution while the warnings remain in place.
