Warm and Sunny Spell to Dominate Until Sunday

After a murky start, cloud cover will gradually break on Wednesday, paving the way for widespread sunshine and mid-20s temperatures across much of Ireland into the weekend. A dry stretch will hold through to Sunday evening, before scattered showers return early next week. Signs suggest another push of warmer, settled weather may follow.
Tuesday
A mostly cloudy day with lingering patches of mist and drizzle, especially across Ulster. Some sunshine will break through in the southwest and west by late afternoon. Light mist or drizzle will persist overnight in the far northwest.
Highs: 14–24°C, warmest in south Munster.
Winds: Light west-northwesterly.
Wednesday
Largely dry with just the odd isolated shower in the west and north. After a cloudy start—especially in Ulster—sunshine will become more widespread through the day.
Highs: 16–26°C, cooler in the far northwest.
Winds: Light westerly.
Thursday to Saturday
A fine stretch of weather with long sunny spells. Patchy cloud may edge onto northern coasts from time to time.
Highs: 20–27°C.
Winds: Light southerly to southeasterly.
Sunday
Dry for most, with the best sunshine across eastern counties. Cloud will increase in the west later, with some patchy drizzle possible in the northwest by evening.
Highs: 20–25°C.
Winds: Gentle to moderate southeasterly.
Monday
A mix of sunshine and showers. Heavy bursts may develop in the southwest and move inland. The southeast and east will stay mostly dry.
Highs: 19–25°C.
Winds: Light westerly.
Outlook for Next Week
Ireland will sit between high pressure to the east and more changeable Atlantic weather to the west. While some showers are likely early in the week, there are early signs that drier and warmer conditions could return, with highs climbing back into the mid to high 20s in places.
