The best of the sunshine was in eastern counties today as seen in this video from Castle Roche, County Louth, with Slieve Gullion in south Armagh in the distance.
Located 7.3 kilometres north-west of Dundalk, in the townland of Roche, the 13th century Castle Roche is dramatically perched on a high rocky limestone promontory, affording sweeping views of the surrounding countryside in all directions, including portions of South Armagh generally known as The Fews
Valentia Observatory in Kerry at 11.2 °c was the mildest location on Sunday.
