
Two small craft warnings issued for west coast

Met Éireann has issued two Status Yellow small craft warnings for the west coast over the coming days, with southerly winds expected to reach force six or higher at times.
The first warning is in effect from 10am to 10pm on Sunday, covering coastal waters from Valentia to Slyne Head to Rossan Point.
A second warning follows from 1am to 1pm on Monday, extending from Mizen Head to Slyne Head to Bloody Foreland.
Further marine warnings are likely for earl;y next week as a significant sea swell is likely to be generated by the remnants of Hurricane Erin as the system becomes anchored to the northwest of Ireland.
