Rain Persists in West and North, Drier Spells in East and South

Long-range-forecast-1-1200x675 Rain Persists in West and North, Drier Spells in East and South

Parts of the South and Southeast will enjoy drier weather up to and including Bank Holiday Monday.

Rainfall totals here will be less than 5mm over the next five days, while amounts will be highest in the West and North.

Temperatures will reach 20°C in parts of East Munster and South Leinster on Thursday and Friday, but will drop to the mid-teens everywhere over the weekend.

Rain or showers will continue to feed across Ireland from the Atlantic during the remainder of this week and into next week.

The best of any dry spells will occur in the east and south of Ireland.

The longer range outlook sees high pressure building from the south of Ireland, which will introduce more settled conditions away from Ireland’s northwest coast by the end of next week.
