Mixed Weather Ahead – But East and Southeast to Stay Driest

Ireland’s weather will remain mixed over the next 10 days, with a clear east-west divide expected to persist.
While the west and northwest will see the bulk of the rainfall, the southeast and east will enjoy drier and slightly warmer conditions overall.
Total rainfall amounts are expected to reach 30–40mm in the northwest and west by the end of next week, while the southeast and east may see as little as 10mm in the same period.
Temperatures will stay close to average in the west and northwest but could reach 1 to 3°C above normal elsewhere, particularly in eastern counties.
After a mostly cloudy spell, sunshine amounts are set to increase from midweek onwards.
