UK Met Office predicts mixed weather for rest of July

Britain is in for a mixed bag of weather over the coming weeks, with forecasters predicting a blend of sunny spells and unsettled conditions—alongside temperatures that are likely to remain above average for most of the country.
That’s according to the UK Met Office, which has issued its latest wrong ranger forecast.
From Wednesday, 16 July to Friday, 25 July, the UK is expected to experience periods of fine, dry, and sunny weather, occasionally lasting several days. However, these settled conditions will be broken up by cloudier intervals bringing showers and longer spells of rain. Some of the rainfall could be heavy at times, with a risk of thunderstorms, particularly in the north and west.
Despite the unsettled outlook, temperatures are forecast to stay above seasonal norms, with hot conditions likely to develop at times—especially in southern and eastern areas, where the mercury could soar during the warmer spells.
Looking further ahead, from Saturday, 26 July to Saturday, 9 August, the changeable theme is set to continue. Intermittent dry and sunny periods will alternate with rain-bearing weather systems. Once again, southern and eastern parts of the UK are most likely to see hotter conditions, with above-average temperatures remaining a feature across much of the country.
