2006 – Kilkenny and Birr both record highs of 29.5°C, among the hottest days of the year.

2013 – A warm, sunny day across much of Ireland, with widespread temperatures in the mid-20s.

2021 – Johnstown Castle, Co. Wexford, logs the month’s highest daily sunshine total with 15.3 hours.
