1979: Winds gusting to Storm Force 10 impact shipping, fisheries and ferry operations in the Irish Sea.

2010: Snow falls across much of the northern half of Ireland.

2012: A wildfire breaks out on Little Sugar Loaf Mountain in County Wicklow. Three units of the Fire Service attend the blaze.

2013: The Northern Ireland Executive announces a €5m aid package for farmers in the Glens of Antrim and Mourne regions who have been impacted by heavy snowfall in recent weeks.

2021: 17.6°C is recorded at Mount Dillon, Co Roscommon, which is the Highest Air temperature of March that year.
